The Anniversary Collection is a celebration of some of our most iconic designs of the past 150 years. Forever relevant in time, each piece reflects our commitment to extraordinary craftsmanship, premium materials and enduring design. Curated to stand together as well as alone, the designs bring beauty and function to living and dining spaces alike.
Introduced with exclusive new materials, the Egg™ and Swan™, PK61™ and Alphabet™ allow you to curate beautiful living spaces. Selected for their timeless aesthetic, Arne Jacobsen’s iconic chairs feature a black PVD base and previously unreleased upholstery while Poul Kjærholm’s coffee table design is launched in exquisite Norwegian marble.
Together with the Essay™ table in new sizes, the comfortable and curvaceous Arne Jacobsen-designed chairs create a complete dining experience that elevates any and every mealtime. The Lily™ chair is offered with soft Grace leather in an all-new chestnut colour, while the Series 7™ comes in walnut veneer with front-upholstered in Grace leather as well as the brand-new, wool-blend Vanir textile in Granite Brown from Kvadrat.
Vanir, conceived by internationally acclaimed designer Raf Simons for Kvadrat, is a woollen fabric inspired by historical military jackets, yet supremely soft. The beautiful Vanir pattern is the result of using different colours in warp and weft. It premieres on the Anniversary Collection pieces and is a Fritz Hansen exclusive for 2022
The upholstery made of Grace leather comes in an all-new colour, dark brown, with a distinctive chestnut hue. It goes without saying that the tactile experience is out of the ordinary. Grace is a premium, aniline leather from the finest quality hide. Displaying characterful, unique markings, it has a soft handle and an exclusive look. Its natural surface structure varies in colour and acquires a lighter patina over time. Breathable and comfortable, this full grain leather adds a timeless sense of luxury to furniture designs. The brand-new chestnut-coloured Grace leather was designed exclusively for Fritz Hansen in collaboration with Danish leather manufacturer brand Sørensen.
Norwegian marble features on the anniversary edition of Poul Kjærholm’s minimalistic PK61™ table. The marble was sourced in Fauske in Norway, near the Article Circle. Its mineral texture sparkles like diamonds, elevating any room. Each piece is entirely unique with different patterns and colours. The new marble is also found in landmarks such as the Danish National Bank and was used for the restauration of the Design Museum Denmark by Kaare Klint.
